  • Suitable for Applied "A" Level Business Studies.

Stratford City is one of the largest mixed use regeneration projects in the UK to date. Yet many young people are not aware of either the resulting changes taking place or the opportunities arising in key sectors of employment. This resource allows students to design a website that aims to inform young people of just such changes in a lively and informative way.

With a comprehensive briefing from the employers and developers and input from web designers, the students had an opportunity to capture many of the exciting activities and changes taking place of interest to the 16-25 age range.

The project culminated in a presentation by the students in Westfield's board room to the senior marketing team.

It also encourages and fosters good communication skills and the importance of listening to the client brief.

This resource was part of the course work for Applied "A" Level Business Studies and can be adapted for other applied business studies courses including BTEC Business.
