Stratford City is a major new metropolitan regeneration development that will see shopping and mixed use development in the heart of Newham and act as a gateway to Europe.

The brief given to the English KS3 students was to interpret these changes in terms of their own aspirations and hopes for the new City and so give a “voice” to young people.

Working with local developers and employers plus a visit to a similar shopping regeneration project, the young people embraced this project that required good team working, communication skills as well as flair and creative talent. The project has given young people a portfolio of work that has been used by a client in a live setting.
