Y10 pupils gave a presentation of their product to a local manufacturer - Sortex to whom the School was grateful for valuable feedback and an opportunity to key processes as well as importance of health and safety.
An example of a good vocational visit organised by NEBP between between Cumberland School and Sortex a local manufacturer. After a series of visits to Sortex the pupils from Cumberland return to demonstrate how they used many of the latest manufacturing techniques observed, to manufacture a clock radio. Pupils can be seen giving a presentation to the MD Bruno Kilshaw of Sortex.
